Stones

The most famous jewelry houses are changing the focus from diamonds to precious colored stones, a little less conventional than the classic sapphire-ruby-emerald trio that everyone is used to. In recent advertisements, Tiffany & Co. for example, present high jewelry with morganite, rubellite, tanzanite, and aquamarine and others.

A colored gemstone that is growing in popularity and value every year is the Paraiba tourmaline, which is extremely beautiful in shades of blue, green, and sometimes even purple, and is especially prized for its unique neon effect.

Watches

All experts unanimously called 2024 the year of Piaget, due to the 15th anniversary of this watch brand and the growing interest in the 7th models.

Piaget is a Swiss watch and jewelry company. It was founded in 1874 by Georges Piaget in the town of La Côte-aux-Feuil. The company is owned by Richemont, a Swiss corporation specializing in luxury goods. Piaget has even re-released the legendary Polo79 in yellow gold, which suggests the original year of manufacture. The authentic feature of this model is the ribbed pattern: deep horizontal grooves extend from the dial to the case and bracelet.

deep horizontal grooves extend from the dial to the case and bracelet of the watch, which gives the watch a special chic look.

An alternative stylization is trendy: two watches on one wrist (practiced even by the Princess Diana!), like the Cartier Baignoire choker on Emmy Chamberlain or Taylor Swift, or even on the leg like Rihanna. The trend was also picked up by the Vaitaitait brand at the men's fashion week in Paris.

Seals

The seals or signet rings which were still popular among the nobility with family coats of arms, have become very popular in plain gold, engraved with drawings, as in the Cece brand, or with stones that have been used for centuries for seals such as onyx, lapis lazuli, or heliotrope.

The London-based vintage brand Bently & Skinner has recently launched a separate website where you can fully personalize such a ring. Bently&Skinner specializes in fine antique jewelry, silver, and Carl Fabergé and is also the jewelry and silver dealer of record for the Queen and Prince of Wales.

Once again, Tiffany & Co. is involved in the popularization of the trend, having created a personalized seal for Bruno Mars in honor of the opening of his Pinky Ring club in Las Vegas.
